Wearables and Nearables Technology Laboratory-Student Presentation Examples Heading link
The Wearables and Nearables Technology Laboratory class converted into an online format after the COVID 19 pandemic and students quickly adapted to these changes. The video shows a group presentation in the form of a commercial for a wristband fitness tracker that students built during Lab 1 of the class.
Presentation Halloween Edition Heading link
Students in the class get more creative in their presentation styles as the semester goes by. This video shows a Halloween edition group presentation of a smart shoe insole that tracks the user’s gait, step counts, and direction of motion.

Some students went above and beyond and would showcase the many wearable devices they created throughout the semester on a website. The video shows a group presentation in the form of a commercial for a wearable that sends “heartfelt memos”, tracks your heart rate, and has a built in fall detection function. This project was part of the final project for the Wearables and Nearables Technology Laboratory class.
Spring 2021 Student Presentation Video Heading link
The video shows a group presentation in the form of a commercial for a wearable that tracks the user’s heart rate, stress levels, and cardio zones. This project was the first lab module for spring 2021. The students that created the video are Victor Hernandez, Aswini Madugula, Priyanka Patel, and Katarina Surjancev, who also starred in the video.
